DJ Shog was from Germany and his real name was Sven Holger Greiner. His DJ name was the S from his first name, Ho from middle name and G from surname. This was his only UK Top 40 hit.
With 1.1m views on YouTube this record is perhaps more popular than it's chart position would imply. He would continue to release records right up to his death in 2022.
