This was the only Top 40 hit for British production duo Brancaccio & Aisher. Their names are Luke Brancaccio and Bruce Aisher.
The origins of this record can be found in "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers but it is not directly sampled. Instead there was a record called "It's Gonna Be A Lovely Day" by SOUL SYSTEM which had Robert Clivilles and David Coles behind it and interpolates "Lovely Day". This is where the sample in this record came from.
It was reasonably popular in the clubs but never really translated into commercial success even if that was their intention based on the familiarity from the sampling.
