When I write a music quiz I like to really challenge people with some questions. In one such quiz the question was "Which girl group had Top 40 hits with Bodyrock and She Got Game in 2001?". Around 120 people were taking part in the quiz and not a single person got the answer.
There were a number of girl groups emerging during this period who had brief Top 40 careers before becoming long forgotten. Tymes 4 were one of these, their debut "Bodyrock" only made number 23 and both records were heavily promoted at the time so the writing was only the wall when this single only made number 40.
It wasn't completely the end for 2 of its members though. Holly James would be featured vocalist on "I'm in Heaven" by Jason Nevins which made the Top 10 in 2003. Then Melissa Garrick was uncredited vocalist on "Moving Too Fast" by Supafly Inc which made number 23.
