One memory I have of listening to the Top 40 in the 90s was Mark Goodier having to assure the listeners that they're listening to Radio 1 after playing Cliff Richard in the Top 40 countdown. This was probably one of those records.
It comes from the musical "Heathcliff" which Cliff Richard appeared in himself as well as Helen Hobson.
It was Top 40 hit number 111 from Cliff Richard and his 16th of the 90s. He'd have just 2 further Top 40 hit in the 90s including his final chart topper to date "The Millennium Prayer" and had a handful of further hits in the 21st century including another number 40.
