UK Number 40s: Easyworld - Junkies (2003)

Easyworld were yet another indie band to have just 2 minor Top 40 hits to their name before disappearing off the face of the earth. This was their Top 40 debut.

They formed as a band in 1997 and started releasing music in 2001. This was single number 5 for them and it was taken from their 2nd album "This Is Where I Stand". The full title of the record is "Junkies & Whores" and was presumably shortened to have a more radio friendly title.

Their 2nd and final Top 40 hit came a year later with "Til the Day" which reached number 27. The band split up that same year and lead singer David Ford became a solo artist, but is yet to have a Top 40 hit.
