If you are a fan of Eurovision then Vicky Leandros is a name you should be familiar with. Whether you'd be familiar with this song though is another thing.
This was the second of two Top 40 hits for Vicky Leandros. Her first, "Come What May" reached number 2. Despite this, her follow up only making number 40, she would more likely regard this as a success rather than a failure.
Vicky Leandros had won the Eurovision Song Contest the previous year with "Come What May". This was the 8th of the 17 Eurovision winners to date to make the UK Top 40 and the highest charting winning song outside of UK and Ireland.
With this record she became the first Eurovision winner outside of UK and Ireland to have a 2nd Top 40 hit. As we all know, she couldn't claim to be the only artist with this status for long as in 1974 the Eurovision winners were Abba.
