There's very little about Rokotto on the internet, no Wikipedia page. What I do know about them is that they're from Dundee and the female singer, Lorna Bannon, is the current singer with Middle of the Road feat Ian McCredie.
Not surprisingly, this was the only Top 40 effort for the group.
The songwriters were Wayne Bickerton and Alan Waddington who were the writers of the early Rubettes records. By this point they were no longer involved with the Rubettes, so presumably this was their attempt at the next Rubettes, albeit a disco version. It would prove to be the last Top 40 hit the duo were songwriters on.
