The Wu-Tang Clan are one of the most successful rap groups of all time, but their UK Top 40 career doesn't reflect this. A collaboration with Texas in 1998 and "Gravel Pit" in 2000 are the only Top 40 hits they have to their name, meaning at this point they were yet to have a Top 40 hit.
In terms of solo efforts from it's members, Method Man became the first member to have a Top 40 hit in 1995. Then came GZA and Inspektah Deck on this record which would be the only UK Top 40 hit for both of them.
D'Angelo had made his Top 40 debut in 1995 and this was hit number 3 of 5. Despite him being relatively well known, none of his hits have made the Top 20.
What we do have though is just the 6th UK Top 40 hit of the 90s to make the Billboard 100, but it only just made it making number 97.
