The next number 40 is so obscure that it isn't listed on everyhit.com. At the same time it is 1 of just 3 UK number 40s of the 80s to make the Billboard 100 and was the bands 2nd highest charting single in America.
The Alarms highest charting single in the UK was their debut "68 Guns" in 1983 which made number 17. They had 8 Top 40 hits overall with their final one coming in 2006, some 23 years after their debut.
This was their 4th Top 40 hit and 2nd in 1985, the only year they had more than one Top 40 hit. It came from the album of the same name. The album reached number 18 which was higher than all of it's singles.
